Dongli Lake Hot Spring Tourist and Holiday District is situated between Tianjin city and Tanggu. It covers an area of 22.01 sq. kms including an eight-square-km lake known as a small fresh-water sea. The lake produces two dozen types of aquatic products such as white bait, turtle and crab. There are many recreational activities on the lake including the flying man on the water, cableways onthe lake, and may types of vessels, such as speedboats, touristboats, motorboats, remote-controlled boats, rowing boats and sailing boats. Other facilities include a beach swimming area, a hot spring swimming pool, whirlppools, hot spring showers, water slides, the 12 Animal Garden, the Turtle Tower and a fishing center. A track for international cycle racing is under construction. The place is accessible by special bus and the service facilities are very good.    Read the article
